In the meantime we've had a low key week and a half. We managed to get in a tour of the hospital where Kelly will give birth and a meeting with our future pediatrician group. I think we were both blown away by the hospital visit. The delivery room fit the whole tour group, which was over 30 people and the daddy beds in the postpartum rooms are actually large enough for guys that are over 5 feet tall to sleep in. And seeing the newborns in the nursery brought home the fact that we'll be taking care of one of those little guys very soon. It was interesting to see the concentrated look of the new father who was tending to his son. You could actually see on his face the realization of the moment and all that it meant. It's what I imagine Lebron James would've looked like had the Cavs won the championship this year... but I'm not bitter. I am sure, however, that I will show a similar face soon enough, because as much as I'm ready to meet this little guy, I'm also aware that I can't truly know that feeling until I'm actually holding him. After the meet and greet with our pediatrician group we both felt very comfortable selecting one of them and we're both happy not to have to lengthen our search. So, minus some paperwork, I think we're about ready to have this baby. I know Kelly is for sure.

Belly Homage
The growth of the belly, and the baby within, has fascinated me for sometime. So, this post is a dedication to this very cool, cute, convex, and coincidentally costly curvature. I have to be honest- I'm going to miss it when it's gone. Feeling him move around in the womb is one of coolest things I've ever experienced, and even though I know that holding him will be even more amazing, I'm still going to miss the bump. I'm sure Kelly won't be so nostalgic about his soon to come exodus, since he's currently eating up 75% of her lung capacity and apparently taking salsa lessons in there at night. So here's a couple recent bump shots. We have a new camera to test out so I'll likely be adding to this post in the near future.
I'm surprised you can't see a hand or foot sticking out
